Rules of Parliamentary Procedure

Pursuant to Article IV, Section 11 of the IAFF Constitution and By-Laws, local, state and provincial affiliates may use either “Robert’s Rules of Order” or “Atwood’s Rules for Meetings” to govern their deliberations. The International’s Executive Board and the IAFF Convention use “Robert’s Rules of Order, Second Revised Edition,” by Mary A. DeVries.

“Atwood's Rules for Meetings” is available through the IAFF. “Robert’s Rules of Order” can be purchased at most bookstores.

April 19-20, 2010 Union Meeting

April 10, 2010 - Minutes for the two-shift Union Meeting held on April 19 & 20, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. have been posted. The Door Prize was $300.00 and forfeited by Jarod Tipton for non-attendance at either meeting. (You must be present at one of the meetings to win.)

    Motion to allow Negotiation Team to pursue new contract language for the cutoff date for new positions to include 90 days prior to Contractor’s opening date of new station or delivery/activation of new unit unless otherwise agreed by Union and City.
